Chicago Surplus Computer can provide a “certificate of insurance” for those customers whose building management requires one. If this is the given case, customer must obtain from their building management office a “Vendor Requirement for Insurance sheet” in order for our company to be able to move out any equipment from their building. To obtain a certificate we require a 48 hour notice once pick up is scheduled.

We also provide an “asset transfer document” that indemnifies the customer from any legal ownership if equipment is disposed of in a manner not meeting EPA regulations.

We can also provide a “certificate of data destruction” for all items that need to be destroyed properly. This list will include all pertaining items with a description of make, model and serial number. There will be a small charge for this.
